Kristen Stringer Vice President, Sales

Turn/River is all about honing in on targeted growth levers that can give our portfolio companies an advantage in efficiently driving revenue growth.
Growth can be hard. That’s why it’s important to have an experienced guide that has traveled the road before. Together, we can steer clear of puddles and pitfalls, and generally enjoy a bit of a smoother ride.
Turn/River is all about honing in on targeted growth levers that can give our portfolio companies an advantage in efficiently driving revenue growth. Every company is different, but what doesn’t change is T/R’s dedication to constantly improving our “tried and true” playbooks to help our portfolio companies accelerate revenue bookings and capital efficiency.
In my role, I partner with T/R portfolio companies to optimize sales team structure and sales process. I aim to transform what are often already high-performing teams into even higher velocity sales engines. If Marketing’s job is to help drive leads, our job in Sales is to convert those leads into new sales. Using T/R playbooks, we share our data-driven insights on what’s working well and what needs further iteration.
My professional background reflects a series of sales leadership roles, with a specific bent towards broadening the existing TAM by testing into new markets: Before T/R, I led a successful door-to-door channel program at Sunrun. I’m especially proud of my most recent work as the VP of Sales within a fast-growing software sales division of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., where I led a team of enterprise leaders and sellers, representing new logo and expansion.
So much of my professional success at T/R circles back to my love of sales, a continuous desire to learn from my portfolio partners, and an effervescent desire to share those learnings to pattern match in new situations. This is my dream job.
Above all, I’ve loved working alongside the intelligent and talented T/R team. Everyone is united in the objective, and is eager to see one another succeed, both personally and professionally.
Fun fact: when I’m not working at T/R I’m home chasing around two toddlers, and I’m the resident beekeeper at their preschool. Life is busy, so I’m a big fan of outsourcing, from grocery delivery to weekly wardrobe rentals!
