Shadi Bucklin Vice President, Head of Go-to-Market Enablement

Shadi Bucklin

I’m proud to work with an outstanding operations team and contribute new ideas that help us identify and invest in great companies.

Every human has untapped potential. The best leaders paint a clear, compelling vision that inspires people to operate at their highest capabilities.

At Turn/River, I partner with go-to-market leaders at our portfolio companies to drive the adoption of our playbooks and best practices. I aim to improve sales productivity, strategy execution, and accelerate sales conversions through scalable methodology and certification approaches. I’m proud to work with an outstanding operations team and contribute new ideas that help us identify and invest in great companies.

Before T/R, I held several roles in building and driving the adoption of go-to-market motions to optimize revenue growth. In one of my earlier GTM roles, I worked on launching new solution packages and products for LinkedIn and trained teams on repeatable sales plays to drive customer expansions. I then became a senior manager of global sales and partner enablement at Equinix. There I developed programs to enable direct sales and channel partners to scale their impact and accelerate new bookings of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions. As head of revenue enablement at Zenefits and Skilljar, I reported directly to the respective CRO and CEO, positioning enablement as a critical needle mover of the business by establishing a differentiated value prop in a  competitive market. Through each of these career pivots, I learned new approaches, leading to more predictable growth outcomes.

I double majored in human development and psychology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. I then earned my MBA from Golden Gate University while working full-time. My education and experience have offered me insights into what unlocks human potential and how to lead and scale high-performing teams and organizations.

I am a fan of word games and puzzles and start each day by solving The New York Times Wordle (usually in only three tries). On weekends, I enjoy fun outdoor adventures with my husband and daughters, traveling and discovering new places together.
