Having employees on your team with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and expertise is invaluable for any company. During my first interview with T/R, it was clear how much Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is at the heart of how we build teams.
As Head of Talent, my role is to connect the right people with positions that challenge them and broaden the expertise we offer. I also bring a strong background in financial services and SaaS companies from my past roles at ICONIQ Capital and Okta; experiences that serve me well at T/R as we build sustainable companies with inclusive teams. Private equity is about making informed acquisitions and ensuring they can scale correctly. Hiring the right people is critical in growing our portfolio companies into a stronger position.
I’m often asked how T/R can strengthen leadership growth and retention when up-leveling our portfolio companies. We take a data-driven approach to enhance the talent of our portfolio companies’ teams, assessing overall employee base performance, identifying gaps, and hiring accordingly.
Outside the office, I enjoy traveling internationally, especially to London (although I will always call San Francisco home). I was also a competitive equestrian for 15 years and hope to return to the stables sometime soon.
